Weapon and Armour proficiencies: The Vizard spellsinger gains no new weapon or armour proficiencies.

Class Features

Masked Warrior: The signature power of the Vizard is her mask, the mark of the hollow within and it's subjugation. Donning this mask is a move equivalent action that provokes attacks of opportunity. At 3rd level, this is reduced to a swift action, and no longer provokes an attack of opportunity, and is a free action at 5th level. The mask provides the following benefits:

  • The Vizard gains the Hollow Subtype (see sidebar).
  • An enhancement bonus to an ability score of his choice and either her Constitution score or Reiatsu Attribute, chosen when the first level of either Vizard class is taken, equal to her Vizard level. Any HP/SEP gained from this is not temporary, but real HP/SEP, and is lost when his mask ends and/or breaks. Her SEP cannot fall below 0 due to this, though her HP can.
  • The Vizard receives A bonus to will saves equal to ½ her Vizard Level (minimum 1).
  • The Vizard has fast healing equal to her Vizard level.
  • The Vizard is immune to fear and panic, as well as similar effects.
  • The Vizard's mask lasts for a number of rounds equal to his Vizard level + his Reiatsu modifier (including any bonuses from the mask), thought it can be maintained for longer by passing a Will Save at the end of each round beyond this normal time period (including the round it would have ended), with a DC equal to 15+ the number of rounds it has been maintained for.
  • Whenever the Vizard is damaged, there is a chance her mask will shatter. This is a Will Save with a DC of 10 + damage/10 + the number of rounds mask has been maintained beyond it's normal duration. If the Vizard fails this save, her mask breaks, ending the masked state prematurely.
  • When the Vizard's masked state ends naturally, she fatigued. If her mask broke, she is instead Exhausted.

Control: To become a true Vizard, the Sinigami must have brought her inner-hollow – the destructive side of her Shinigami powers – under his control. The Vizard no longer needs to make saves to restrain her inner-hollow. Whenever her HP is reduced to an amount where the Hollow would take over, the Vizard chooses to let it take control or not.
Alternately, the Vizard can choose to have her inner-hollow take control at any time, so long as she in the masked state.

Hollowified Power: at 1st level, The Vizard's Hollow Reiatsu begins to merge with and empower her other abilities. he Vizard Selects one activated Zanpakuto ability (IE: an ability that uses an action and is not always active) or Kido spell they know, and one of the options presented below. When the Vizard uses the chosen ability in her masked state, she can spend extra SEP to enhance it, as the chosen ability. At 3rd level, 5th level, and every 3 levels thereafter, the Vizard can choose another power to enhance. The Vizard may choose to enhance the same ability multiple times, though not with the same enhancement unless otherwise noted.

Hollow Ability: At 2nd level and every 2 levels thereafter, the Vizard gains a hollow ability. This ability is only active while her mask is on. The Vizard must select an ability that works while sealed (the sealed category says no) due to not having a Hollow's body. If she is of 12th level or higher, she can select Adjuchas level hollow powers.

Mask Design: As the Vizard's Powers evolve, her mask starts be become more advanced and intricate. Choose one of the following mask designs. While wearing her mask, the Vizard gains the listed benefit.
A Vizard with levels in both Vizard Warrior and Vizard Spellslinger can select different mask designs for each class. Both mask designs are active at once. If the Vizard select the same design, levels in both classes stack for determining the benefits, otherwise the benefits from each class are calculated separately

  • Speed: The Vizard gain a bonus to Shunpo distance equal to ½ her Vizard level * 5
  • Defense: The Vizard's defense bonus to AC increases by an amount equal to ½ her Vizard level
  • Spellpower: The vizard increases the save DC of all spells she casts, and the result of every dice rolled during a kido spell, by 1 per every 4 vizard levels she possesses (min + 1)
  • Stealth: The Vizard increases her sneak attack or skirmish damage by 1 point per dice for every 4 Vizard levels (minimum +1).

Cero: At 3rd level, the Vizard is capable of channeling the power of her inner-hollow. She can use Cero , so long as he is in his masked state.

Mask Metamorphisis: from 4th level onwards, the Vizard can draw out the power of her mask in greater busts, at the cost of damaging her mask and leaving himself at risk of being depowered. Depending on his mask type, the Vizard can use one of the following abilities. When she uses this ability, she must make a DC20 Will save. If he succeeds, the duration of his mask is reduced by 1 round. If she is already beyond her masks normal duration, using this ability ends the masked state and breaks her mask. If she fails this save, her mask is immediately shattered. The action still takes effect regardless of the outcome of the Will Save.

  • Speed The Vizard moves so fast they seem to blink in and out of existence. She may act as if under the effects of a blink spell, though see invisibility has no effect. This lasts until the start of her next turn
  • Defense: As a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity, the Vizard gains either spell resistance or energy resistance to one kind of energy, equal to 10 + Character Level.
  • Spell-Power: The Vizard reduces the cost of a single metakido by 1/2. This can be attempted multiple times in one action, though each time raises the Will save DC by 2. She is still restricted by the normal limit for enhancing abilities.
  • Stealth: The Vizard creates an area of magical darkness with a range of 30ft. She can see through it perfectly, and in fact treats the area as full illumination. abilitys that detect creatures prescience (such as detect thoughts) or allow a creature to see through magical darkness must pass an opposed ecl roll. This is equivalent to a spell the highest level the Vizard can cast.

Masked Paragon: At 5th level, the Vizard has unlocked the full potential of his inner hollow. The Vizard can pay 10 SEP and shatter his mask (automatically ending Masked State as if their mask broke) to perform the ability relevant to his mask type. The exhaustion does not kick in until the end of his turn. This ability cannot be used if the mask is beyond it's normal duration.

  • Speed: The Vizard may take an immediate turn, as if his initiative roll had come round. This does not change his initiative value (IE: he could act faster than someone with a 17 if they had a 13, but he'd still be 13). his mask shatters as the end of this bonus turn.
  • Defense: As a swift action that does not provoke an attack of opportunity, all allies with 100 ft gain your choice of spell resistance or energy resistance to one kind of energy equal to your character level + 11. This lasts until the start of the Vizard's next turn.
  • Spell-Power: All spells cast by the Vizard until the start of her next round are automatically enhanced by a single metakido she knows for no extra cost.
  • Stealth: The Vizard creates an area of magical darkness and silence with an area of 300 ft. She, and all her allies ,can see through it perfectly, and are unaffected by the silence. This lasts a number of rounds equal to the duration her mask had remaining. This is the equivalent of the highest level spell she can cast.

In addition, her mask henceforth provides ½ it's benefit to the Vizard's other attributes (IE: the ones not already boosted by his mask)

++Hollowified Enhancements

  • Empower Ability: The ability used is Empowered. This enhancement can only be applied to an ability that has a random numeric value. Using this increases the cost of the ability by an additional 4 SEP. The Vizard cannot both empower and maximize one ability in a given turn, but may apply them both to the same ability.
  • Maximize Ability: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability that has a random numeric value. The ability used is Maximized. Using this ability increases the cost by an additional 6 SEP. A Vizard cannot both empower and maximize an ability in a given turn, but may apply them both to the same ability.
  • Extend: This enhancement can only be applied to a power with a duration of one round or greater. This cannot be applied to a sustained power. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP. This enhancement may be applied to the same power multiple times. Its effects stack. The cost does not increase further
  • Repetitive: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability with a duration of Instantaneous. The ability repeats itself at ½ its original effectiveness at the end of the target's next round. If the victim was entitled to a save against the first ability, then they are entitled to one against the second, using the same DC. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 4 SEP. This enhancement may be applied to the same power multiple times. Its effects stack. The cost does not increase further for each additional application of this.
  • Discriminatory: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability with an area of effect. The Vizard can choose which of the valid targets in an area of the ability are affected and which are not. If the ability lasts for more than one round, they can decide which creatures are affected each round. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP
  • Reach: The Enhanced ability's range is increased by 50% (150% of self remains self). Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP. This enhancement can be applied to the same power multiple times. Its effects stack. The cost does not increase further for each additional application of this.
  • Chain: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability with a single target. The enhanced ability jumps to one additional valid target in range, at 50% effectiveness. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 4 SEP. This can be applied to the same power multiple times. Its effects stack. The cost does not increase further
  • Instant: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability which does not take longer than a full round action. Once per round, the selected ability may be used as a free action that does not provoke attacks of opportunity. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 8 SEP. If multiple abilities are enhanced by this ability, only one of them may be used each round.
  • Delayed: The enhanced ability is used as normal (cost, activation time, target(s) etc.), except its effects are not activated immediately. The Vizard can choose to activate the ability any time, so long as their mask is on and has not been deactivated since using the ability. Activating the Delayed ability is a free action. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 4 SEP.
  • Merciful: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability that inflicts damage of some kind. All damage from the attack becomes positive energy, regardless of whether it normally caused energy damage, or what type energy it was before. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP.
  • Devastating: This Enhancement can only be applied to an ability that inflicts damage of some kind. All damage from the attack becomes negative energy, regardless of whether it normally caused energy damage, or what type energy it was before. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP.
  • Vampiric: This enhancement may only be applied to an ability that inflicts damage of some kind. The Vizard gains temporary hit points equal to ½ the damage inflicted, that lasts so long as is mask remains. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 4 SEP.
  • Penetrating: The save DC of the ability chosen is increased by two. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP. This enhancement may be applied to a single ability multiple times. Its effects stack.
  • Absolute Power: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability that has both the Maximized and Empowered enhancements applied to it. The ability is both Empowered and Maximized. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 8 SEP
  • Triggered Delay: This Enhancement can only be applied to an ability that has the Delayed enhancement applied. The enhanced ability is not activated immediately, but instead has a trigger (as Contingency). This trigger remains in place for up 24 hours, at which point the ability automatically triggers. The Vizard does not need to keep his mask on for the ability to trigger. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 10 SEP
  • Spiritually Vampiric: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability that has the Vampiric enhancement applied to it. The Vizard gains ¼ of the damage caused as temporary SEP and temporary HP. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP
  • Twinned: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability which has the chained enhancement applied to it. When using this ability, the enhanced ability is resolved twice, both at full power. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 8 SEP
  • Persistent: This enhancement can only be applied to an ability that has the repetitive enhancement applied to it. The enhanced ability repeats itself at half its origional effectiveness each round the Vizard remains in a masked state. Using this ability increases the cost of the ability by an additional 2 SEP

Beyond 5th level

The shinigami can chose to continue advancing in the Vizard Spellsinger class after 5th level. If they choose to do so, they gain the following abilities.
At 6th level and every 3 levels thereafter, the Vizard can hollowify another power
At 7th level and every 3 levels thereafter, the Vizard gains another Hollow power
At 8th level, and every 3 levels thereafter, the Vizard gains a bonus feat he meets the prerequisites for that is a Zanpakuto, Shunpo or Hollow feat. If she is above level 20, he may choose epic feats he qualifies for as well
